Yaowawit – More Than Just a School
Yaowawit is located two hours north of Phuket in the tropical countryside of Phang Nga. Our lodge has 15 rooms and is a great place to relax, with a farm to explore, a pool and stunning views of the surrounding hills and many things to do nearby. We can arrange for you to join activities with the children or book one of our activity packages.
Nearby are temples, hot springs, Khao Lak-Lumru National Park featuring stunning waterfalls, hiking trails and views you need to see to believe as well as the Kapong Sunday market. Within driving distance is Khao Lak which is a popular tourist destination known for its beaches, diving, island tours and markets.

Your booking fees will be a donation and will go directly towards keeping our school running for the children – helping us with costs such as teacher’s salaries, books, clothes and hygiene products so that we can continue caring for our children to the best of our ability.

Pizza Oven
Enjoy one of our delicious pizza variety while being surrounded by a beautiful jungle decor. You can customize each of those with more or fewer toppings.
Our artisanal pizzas are a combination of the freshest ingredients baked in a handmade oven. The wood fire, will give a light smoky flavor, a crisp but a tender crust to your pizza. It will be irresistible for your taste buds, be prepared to order more than one!

The ICS Hong Kong School donated the material and built the pizza oven with our ingenious permaculture and agriculture teacher, Mrs. Yuppa.
Activities & Trips
There is plenty to do both in-school and outside of the school. Inside the school you can do things such as working on the farm and agriculture projects, assisting with our English classes, hospitality classes, dance and music classes and much more.
Outside the school you can visit the local temple and museum, go river rafting/canoeing on a day tour, visit waterfalls and caves, go on a jungle trekking and elephant excursion, visit the local markets or just go sightseeing around the local Kapong district and many other activities.
