In grieving for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadei, Yaowawit School, our visitors from Seoul Foreign School and members of the Kapong Community came together at 7:09pm last Friday. Hundreds of people attended the ceremony where every person lit a candle in memory of the king and stood in formation of the Thai number nine (as King Bhumibol was the ninth king of Thailand). Everyone then joint in singing the Thai national anthem and two other songs to mourn the loss of the king.
