Wooden Planks Replacement of Hotel Bridges
Why the Wooden Planks Need to be Replaced
Our three hotel buildings stand next to the hill (where Yaowawit School is). The hotels and the hill side are connected with the bridges. Hotel guests can access their rooms only through these bridges. The planks of these bridges are made of wood. Over time, these wooden planks decay. For over several months during this rainy season, the decay has got worse and worse. Because the decaying planks are softening, they can cause incidents for our guests. For example, if they step on the decaying part by accident, they can fall. To prevent such incidents, we must replace the decaying planks. However, we need new planks that can last for a long time. Therefore, we need to buy artificial planks, like those made of Shera wood*.
* Shera wood is made from a composite of fiber, cement and silica.
